Couch Potato Alert
This week is keeping me busy. Sadly, though I hate to admit it, it's not because of schoolwork. HAHA. Blame it to the television who is no longer living it up to its promise of quality shows, browsing with them is just giving me a bad headache. Unfortunately, we do not have cable connection that's why I'm stuck with local channels filled with cliched titles and oh-so-predictable plots. It was a good thing there was the internet which saved me from turning into a psycho. For without it, I wouldn't be updated with the latest TV shows of today. Like this four,
Behold my new discoveries and my new favorite TV shows as well!
- Melrose Place - This particular TV series used to be a hit TV show of the 90's and a direct spin-off of the 90210 franchise as well. Now, Melrose Place returns with new set of characters and few recurring faces from the 90's TV series as well. The fictitious 4616 penthouse is currently being occupied by new tenants from different walks of life, all struggling with their own problems and trying to survive the life in West, Hollywood. What I like: It captivated me because of the amazing pilot episode that I saw last week. The characters are all relatable yet mysterious and the storyline is quite interesting. What also got me hooked was when the current landlady of Melrose Place was found dead one morning filled with blood while floating on the penthouse pool. Who could have done it? Well, that's for the audience to find out!
- Glee - Glee is a new musical comedy-drama that airs on FOX. It focuses on a high school show choir, also known as a glee club, set within the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. Many people said that this was just another High School Musical rip-off. But to contrast what Sharpay Evans did on the HSM fanchise, in Glee the people of the club are mainly students from the bottom of the so called "social heap" In a mission to bring the life back to this forgotten organization, Will a former member of the glee club and a current McKinley High faculty takes up the challenge in taking over glee. But can Will juggle his time with glee, his job and his relationship with his wife? Will the remaining six members of glee reciprocate Will's efforts? What I like: Everything about Glee just reminds me of my senior year at high school. No, I wasn't part of glee when I was a senior but everything about the whole musical Broadway themes just made me felt nostalgic when we did Chicago two years ago. It's insanely funny too!
- The Vampire Diaries - A hit series of vampire novels from LJ Smith. Now The Vampire Diaries takes a fresh bite as the CW carries the romance from the pages of our books down to our TV screens. I personally haven't read the book but a lot of people said that there were a lot of changes made. Who the hell cares?! I like the pilot episode -- the first scene reminds me of Tru Blood for some odd reason. It's your typical love story between a human and a vampire but at least this one doesn't involve a sparkling, scary-looking gay vamp and a weak, selfish monotonous girl and I think you know what I'm talking about. (HAHA. I'm soooo mean) But what also makes this quite compelling is that Stefan, the good vampire has a really bad, bad brother named Damon who returns to town after a few years to torment Stefan and to pursue Elena, his brother's new love. What I like: I couldn't quite put my finger on why did I like this series but one thing's for sure when I saw the pilot, I want to watch more! And I think that's a good thing. :D
- 90210 Season 2 - Now this is the biggest surprise yet! Honestly, I wasn't a fan of how this show ended its first season. Try looking for an old blog entry that I have on how did I resent season one's last episode. But after seeing the pilot episode of season two, I knew I was HOOKED! There were a lot of changes with the characters and the storylines that shocked me -- Like Ethan being removed from the series and Silver hanging out with Naomi and Adrianna. But when I tried absorbing it, I realized all of it kinda worked. There were also new faces that made 90210 more and more exciting to watch. I couldn't just wait until Naomi finds out everything and realizes that her sister is one evil social climber bitch. Dixon is also an ass. Oh, and Annie is still as annoying as always. Haha. What I like: Good call on removing the old cast's storylines (like Kelly, Brenda and Donna) C'mon this is the new 90210, I don't need the old cast of Beverly Hills dealing with their own baggages anymore. Oh and I like the new opening billboard of 90210. Its short but it totally reflects whole the 90210 lifestyle :))
So people, if you're planning to ask me what's up. Well THIS is what's keeping me up. Find something interesting that you like?

Something Random to "Muse" About
Hell Week was over...like two weeks ago, and apparently my ability to write was also swept away by my midterm's exit. I am not like this actually in fact, I could always write my thoughts on cyber paper even after exams are over. I don't know, but after midterms my mind just shuts down its blogging capabilities. I always try to post a new blog entry but when I'm already in front of the computer, I would always found myself thinking "Okay, what's next?" Blogger's block you think? I don't think so.
These past few weeks, I keep on saying to myself that my inspiration or muse to write was eaten by my midterm exams or it just went on a vacation or something and it would soon come back. But when? Or perhaps it didn't actually go, it was just on the back of my mind, silently waiting to be acknowledged again. Do I even really need a muse to write a blog entry? I have come to realize that maybe not. Maybe all I needed is to be myself and let my weird mind do the magic. We simply need to adjust our brains to hear what our heart already knows. Thanks to Vittoria Vetra from Angels&Demons for teaching me that :)
Anyway back to the whole blogger's block thing, I personally don't believe this sort of syndrome or something that is kinda uso these days with a lot of bloggers. I think it is just a euphemistic term for a blogger's laziness. C'mon, if you're really hyped to post for something or you're just feeling motivated then all your creative juices to write will just push through effortlessly --- That's what I learned today. Perhaps I am just too lazy to get my hands typing again. Ha ha.
Look at me, I wasn't planning to blog today due to my cramped schoolwork duties but because I felt like updating this thing for some odd reason, I was able to write --- with or without my so called muse! Posting something on your blog doesn't have to be planned or well thought-out off. I just let my thoughts go on and on without worrying how it would turn out. Sometimes a little randomness is key. Don't you like the thrill of not knowing how a particular post would turn out. I like that feeling :)
Does any of this makes any sense to you? I hope so, but if not, Welcome to my mind! :D

Vanity isn't a sin, a little narcissm wouldn't hurt.
Greetings stranger! If you ever by any chance stumble upon this little world that I created myself in the vast and tangled universe of the world wide web, consider yourself warned. I am extremely well known for being enigmatic and difficult to understand. I may seem detached and incapable of revealing my innermost feelings simply because I am oftentimes unable to do so. Perhaps philosophical at times and is interested in what we called the unexplained. Consider me as a little bit of everything all rolled into one. On some days I can be social, fun loving, outgoing and creative on one hand my personality is also contrasted with being sarcastic, moody and stubborn. So while some days will be a hit and others a miss hopefully but most days, will be and should be better than others. Nonetheless, read at your own risk.
In short, WELCOME to Planet Oblivion! A small planet in the blogosphere universe. Help me in my quest in finding a deeper meaning on what lies beneath this planet's surface. Don't forget to drop me a tag! :)
