Something Random to "Muse" About
These past few weeks, I keep on saying to myself that my inspiration or muse to write was eaten by my midterm exams or it just went on a vacation or something and it would soon come back. But when? Or perhaps it didn't actually go, it was just on the back of my mind, silently waiting to be acknowledged again. Do I even really need a muse to write a blog entry? I have come to realize that maybe not. Maybe all I needed is to be myself and let my weird mind do the magic. We simply need to adjust our brains to hear what our heart already knows. Thanks to Vittoria Vetra from Angels&Demons for teaching me that :) Anyway back to the whole blogger's block thing, I personally don't believe this sort of syndrome or something that is kinda uso these days with a lot of bloggers. I think it is just a euphemistic term for a blogger's laziness. C'mon, if you're really hyped to post for something or you're just feeling motivated then all your creative juices to write will just push through effortlessly --- That's what I learned today. Perhaps I am just too lazy to get my hands typing again. Ha ha. Look at me, I wasn't planning to blog today due to my cramped schoolwork duties but because I felt like updating this thing for some odd reason, I was able to write --- with or without my so called muse! Posting something on your blog doesn't have to be planned or well thought-out off. I just let my thoughts go on and on without worrying how it would turn out. Sometimes a little randomness is key. Don't you like the thrill of not knowing how a particular post would turn out. I like that feeling :) Does any of this makes any sense to you? I hope so, but if not, Welcome to my mind! :D Friday, August 14, 2009
Digital Insanity
I totally envy bored people right at this very moment. Why? Hmmmm. Let's see, I need to finish my research paper for Sociology this week. I'm not getting any progress after my introduction part. I need to complete my journal filled with twelve nosebleed Communication theories before the 24th. There's also a pile of video edits on my desktop that I need to finish before Monday. The software that I'm actually using is acting retard so I'm downloading a new one by the way. Installing a software is giving me a pain in the ass and headache to start with. I'm getting extremely beyond frustrated right now. We have a report tomorrow and I haven't discussed yet with my groupmates how are we going to present our topic. I'm getting irregular amounts of sleep and I'm getting stressed every second. Hell week (aka my midterm) is also fast approaching. Oh boy, I hope all of my efforts would soon pay off. You have no idea how bad I want to disconnect for a while from my digital life. Read a book perhaps. Ugh. I miss those blissful days. T.T Sunday, August 9, 2009

Cory Aquino (1933-2009)
Almost all of the blogs that I've visited since Saturday has at least one entry that is dedicated to the sad passing of this famous figure. It's inevitable. I feel like as a blogger, the mere sharing of my thoughts on cyberspace about the unfortunate loss of Mrs. Corazon Aquino is like my little way of thanking her for the legacy that she has left in all of the Filipinos. Though I wasn't born yet around the time when Cory Aquino fought against the dictatorship of Marcos's regime, the mark that she has left still remains up to this very moment. Freedom . For without her, there will be no such thing as freedom of speech to our wretched country. And with that, I pay my highest gratitude and respect the sole symbol of democracy to me and to my country. Not only did she brought freedom, but for me she also made me believe that there is still hope for our nation. Though unity is something rare in our country, former President Cory proved to me that we can still unite a divided land --- Not once but twice. For the last time, she united the rich and the poor, the old and the young, the partisan and the apathetic, the men and the women and the soldiers and the civilians. I believe not a lot of people can do that around this time of political disputes. How can I wish that this moment of grievance be a continuing path, a turning point to our relentless fight for real freedom. I may not be alive when she fought for the country, but I will sure recall the extraordinary woman in yellow, her motherly aura and her warm peaceful smile. I may not witnessed how she held herself while mourning for the death of her husband when she was still alive, but knowing tiny bits of her made me think that she did it with humbleness, faith for God, love for the country and relentless wisdom. The Filipinos did not just lost a former president. We have also lost a personification of perseverance and strength, a light bearer of freedom, a symbol of democracy, a loving mother, a faithful Christian, and a true-blooded Filipino. May you rest in peace Tita Cory, my highest respects and gratitude to you. From the generation unlucky enough to have no memories of Edsa or of your regime, but lucky enough to have known you for a good number of years. You will be forever missed. Monday, August 3, 2009
Stick-it-to-the-Maniosis
Stickittothemaniosis \'stik-it-tu-thə-mæniyɵsis\ n. (2008) 1: A term adopted from a very famous movie by a conspiracy theorist/expert procrastinator with the help of a high school colleague in a social experiment last year 2: An unpredictable illness where a person finds his/herself skipping classes for no explainable reason at all 3: Symptoms include severe procrastinating, excessive sleeping and ignoring his blog for a few consecutive days straight 4. Stickittothemaniosis is said to be the by-product of heavy schoolwork, lots of stress and extreme usage of body and mind power Bakit ka absent? This phrase is now starting to become more of a rhetorical question to my friends actually. You know those "tinatanong ba ba yan" questions? That's how habitual I am when it comes to my absences. Yeah. I do admit that I love skipping classes for no reason at all. I do love doing this appalling habit to the point where my friends do not even believe it when I say the "I'm sick" alibi anymore. (Even if I'm really telling the truth!) Hey, you can't blame me if various school activities just keeps on popping out of nowhere. School activities that require my body to travel from one place to another. And I think I know perfectly that body is not that used in traveling all the time. I know my arguments are really flimsy to start with. Maybe I'm just not used to a hectic life that's why I fall back easily on nasty temptations. I just tell myself that there are always things in life that require time to perfect. It's my decision to study to Manila, now it is my responsibility to face the consequences of my decision. Don't worry, as do the math, I believe I am still far from having an FDA in my report card at the end of the semester. Tsktsktsk. Bad kid. But of course, I wouldn't let my weird crazy self ignored. We have to find at least the real culprit behind my peculiar absences right? Thanks to Emilee who seems to know how much I love doing this in high school, I've coined a new term for my unexplainable predicament. That's right, I'm guilty for having Stickittothemaniosis. Sadly, there are no rehabilitation facilities for people like me. HAHA! I believe this a rare condition and only a few number of people have this. If I'm not mistaken this is extremely against the norm. Be warned, this is extremely harmful to a person's health --- Especially if has gotten out of hand. What about you, do you have a Stickittothemaniosis? :] Friday, July 24, 2009

Vanity isn't a sin, a little narcissm wouldn't hurt.Greetings stranger! If you ever by any chance stumble upon this little world that I created myself in the vast and tangled universe of the world wide web, consider yourself warned. I am extremely well known for being enigmatic and difficult to understand. I may seem detached and incapable of revealing my innermost feelings simply because I am oftentimes unable to do so. Perhaps philosophical at times and is interested in what we called the unexplained. Consider me as a little bit of everything all rolled into one. On some days I can be social, fun loving, outgoing and creative on one hand my personality is also contrasted with being sarcastic, moody and stubborn. So while some days will be a hit and others a miss hopefully but most days, will be and should be better than others. Nonetheless, read at your own risk. In short, WELCOME to Planet Oblivion! A small planet in the blogosphere universe. Help me in my quest in finding a deeper meaning on what lies beneath this planet's surface.
