I repeat the first FEW days only! As I recall it, my first two days was a piece of cake. It was a day spent with new teachers, new set of subjects plus a funny seminar about the A(H1N1) scare to wrap the whole thing up. I would like my days at college to be just like my first week. Where everything is new and slow paced. When things are less tense and the word pressure is still absent in every professor's vocabulary. But then again, where would the excitement be without all the challenges that the world of college has to offer? Before I know it, things will soon return to its normal chaos right in front of my very eyes without me even noticing it. So much to stall someone for an introduction right? Actually that isn't what this blog entry is all about. There was just this funny story that I encountered this afternoon while I was doing my daily routines in the world wide web. In fact, I am still doubting if the word funny is the right word to describe this unfortunate story. HAHA! Here's how the story goes: A Belgian teenager who asked a tattooist for three tiny stars on her face, only to end up covered in 56 stars, is suing the tattooist for 10,000 Euros damages. Kimberley Vlaminck, 18, claims tattooist Rouslan Toumaniantz spoke such bad English and French that he misunderstood her at the Tattoo Boy studio in Courtrai, Belgium. She said the translation error left her scarred for life after he tattooed her with an incredible 56 stars. Kimberley added her life had been 'ruined' by the artwork. She said: 'I can't go out on the street now without people looking at me.' She now wants compensation to undergo laser treatment to get them off, but even after the treatment - that will cost upwards of 10,000 Euros, she is still likely to be left with scars for life. She claims she fell asleep while tattooist Rouslan Toumaniantz went to work. 'It is horrible,' said Kimberley. 'He has turned me into a freak.' I have only one thing to say first. FELL ASLEEP? Is the girl serious about her alibi because I am seriously not buying it. If I am not mistaken, having a tattoo is a really painful thing to experience. This is not those sticker-like tattoos that you mix with water; this is really painful. So there is in no way in hell that this girl fell asleep without even feeling a single tinge of pain out of the anatomy of her body that could wake her up. Unless she is heavily drunk or sedated which is both a plausible speculation that I am starting to consider. She must've said fifty-six when in her head she was thinking of the number three I don't know. Now for the reason for suing the tattoo artist that made her look like a copy of the American Flag plus six anonymous states (HAHA), attention maybe? Or perhaps she was just trying to cover up her drug mishap by blaming the artist of her predicament I am not sure. I haven't read any follow up articles to this really funny news and I am not planning to do an intensive research either. I just want to share to you my immediate reaction to this poor poor girl's ill-fated situation. (Hey. at least the other side still looks clean.) ELEVEN: Another weird thing about me is that I love watching Home TV Shopping channels. I can stay on that channel for an hour or so. Weird right? TWELVE: I'm a very messy kid. Even my own thoughts have its own clatter that I can't fix myself. THIRTEEN: I love to sleep especially in class. I learned the proper way this freshman year. It's appalling I know. :)) FOURTEEN: I am a daydreamer. I tend to be a little idealistic with my ideas sometimes. I believe I have a very wild imagination. My mind also starts to fly very easily.
