Late Thoughts & Whatnots
The spread was faster than any form of viral disease. It had taken millions of people by surprise. You can still even see the impact that it had created on millions of people across the globe up to this very moment. Everything was so sudden yet the effect was phenomenal. People now call it as one of the biggest surprises to the history of mankind. Don't agree with me? Check your newsstands, and internet news sites, and I bet my life that you will see what I am referring to. And before you know it, you will just find yourself blogging about one of the hottest topic across the blogosphere universe today. I was part of the generation that wasn't eclipsed by Michael Jackson's fame. Or at least I was born at the time where the King of Pop was a far fetched topic for my childish mind then to concentrate on for the moment. I was still thinking of far more other things than a guy that was famous for his eccentric outfits, energetic moves and good music. I belong to the revival era of the Jackson epic as others would call it. The generation probably that only knew an MJ song because it was later sang by David Cook. It was the time where Michael Jackson was considered as a classic rather than something contemporary. It's a little bit harsh but it's true. Honestly, I was just familiarized by the song Man In The Mirror because of Kris Allen. All thanks to American Idol of course. But then again who wouldn't recall the guy behind the music that made Thriller the national anthem of Halloween right? The man behind the famous (and difficult not to mention) moon walk. And the man that was so significant to the music industry today, I couldn't even count how many artists became inspired and was influenced by this guy.Though, I do not know a lot about Michael and his musical contribution, I feel how his loss made huge impact on most of us. It was like a part of ourselves died with him -- no matter how remotely small that part might be, still I believe there was a space for the Michael Jackson there that died as well. (Sheesh, I sounded like a die hard fan right there, but no) It's an inevitable thing to recall all the controversies that are included when you first speak of the name Michael Jackson. But let's give this sorrowful moment to the man. Can't we just cut the whole controversy crap for the sake of the people who loved the man for who he is. I hate it how the media loves sensationalizing issues of a dead person. It's appalling how in accordance to the immense number of contributions that Michael had brought, words such as pedophile, sexual abuser and homosexual just to name a few are included with the Michael Jackson package. I am not an avid fanatic (although honestly I think I am starting to sound like one) so I am not to judge this man's actions. But with all of Michael Jackson's shortcomings aside, we have to remember that he is still a man with a pure talent. I guess fame really has its price. It has its own pros and cons and dealing with them is not an easy thing. With booze, drugs and sex here and there, it is a fat chance for someone to come clean and to face hard controversies altogether right? Can you even imagine how difficult it is for celebrities? Fame can really take someone to the top of the world. But I guess the faster you get there, the longer it will take for you to fall as well. What's most important is how someone gets up and continue life. As for me, Michael Jackson is one of the greatest symbol that I can give as an example. Being a catholic myself, I guess he already made his message to the world by delivering good music and becoming a symbol of courage that's why God took him already as he had done his part to the world. Hopefully the people still alive would do their part as well. Sigh. His heartbeat might have died, but his music will stay with all of us forever. Hmmmmm. As if naman by collecting my thoughts about Michael will do good on me right? Pamamanahan ba niya ko ng yaman niya if I write this? No. Read between the lines guys. I think you already know what I am talking about. :) |

Vanity isn't a sin, a little narcissm wouldn't hurt.Greetings stranger! If you ever by any chance stumble upon this little world that I created myself in the vast and tangled universe of the world wide web, consider yourself warned. I am extremely well known for being enigmatic and difficult to understand. I may seem detached and incapable of revealing my innermost feelings simply because I am oftentimes unable to do so. Perhaps philosophical at times and is interested in what we called the unexplained. Consider me as a little bit of everything all rolled into one. On some days I can be social, fun loving, outgoing and creative on one hand my personality is also contrasted with being sarcastic, moody and stubborn. So while some days will be a hit and others a miss hopefully but most days, will be and should be better than others. Nonetheless, read at your own risk. In short, WELCOME to Planet Oblivion!
