Stuck in Wonderland
 Here I am again, feeling stuck in the midst a two-day vacation. Thanks to Manila Day, now I'm having what I call a procrastinator syndrome. I'm feeling lazy to do my assignments even though almost all of them is just a google search away. Hmmm, might as well blog for now while I decide if I will ever bother to continue my unfinished assignments. I hate how the rain is giving its usual laziness spell on me and I do not have any protection against its alluring sound. Mind you, I do love the rain, but it's inevitable how everyone feels lazy and all cozy when it's raining. Sigh. I'm stuck with my own wonderland without having any plans of returning to reality. What a nice way to start school don't you agree? Speaking of wonderland, guess what I found in the internet?Alice In Wonderland is going to be made into a real life movie! You didn't experience childhood without hearing Alice's wonderful adventures. Actually, as a kid I was scared slash fascinated with the story of Alice in Wonderland. She was like sucked into this surreal world where everything was unusual. A place where rabbits understood the value of time, where cats became invisible and all of the unusual things weird a man could think of. What also excites me about the film is the collaboration of the dynamic duo of Tim Burton and Johny Depp! What is Tim Burton without Johny Depp right? I just love Tim Burton's perspective on creating movies. He has his own trademark, from the way he creates his sets to the way he pictures a scene. With his magnificent works such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, I couldn't just wait on how he's going to make Alice In Wonderland one of his own. There's the picture above of the amazing Johny Depp in his Mad Hatter costume while on his left we have Helena Bonham Carter in his most animated role, I can say, as the Red Queen. I heard Anne Hathaway is going to be the White Queen while Mia Wasikowska is going to play the coveted role of Alice Kingsley. The white rabbit's going to be played by Micheal Sheen while Professor Snape (yes, I insist in calling him that way) and Peter Pettigrew will play The Catterpillar and The Bloodhound respectively. Sadly, this film won't hit the theaters until the early of 2010. I can't wait! |
